Spicy Roast Chick Pea Snacks

A great low fat replacement to Peanuts or other high fat snacks.

Ingredients

  • Fry Light
  • 1 tbsp - Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp - Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp - Chilli Powder
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 tsp - Chilli Flakes
  • 1 x 400 gms - Chick Peas

Method

  1. Preheat an oven to 350°F /175°C.
  2. Mix cumin, garlic powder, chilli powder, sea salt, black pepper, and chilli together in a small bowl; add the chickpeas spray with Fry Light and toss to coat. Spread into a single layer on a fry light sprayed baking sheet.
  3. Roast in the preheated oven, stirring occasionally, until nicely browned and slightly crispy, about 45-50 minutes.
