A delightful summer strawberry dessert all the family will love
- 1 - large sponge flan case
- 150 gms - Strawberries, chopped
- 150 gms - Strawberries, halved
- 400 ml - Boiling water
- 75 gm sachet - Low fat instant custard
- 1 - Hartley's sugar free strawberry jelly
- Place a large sponge flan case on a serving plate.
- Blend 150g chopped strawberries and place in a measuring jug, top up to 400ml with boiling water.
- Whisk in 1 sachet of low-fat instant custard. Reheat in a saucepan or microwave until thick, then pour into the flan base and allow to cool.
- Top with a further 150g halved strawberries.
- Make up jelly with only 1/4 pint of hot water, once disolved, add a few ice cubes to speed up the cooling process, carefully spoon over the strawberries.
- Allow to set and serve
