Delicious side dish, can also be a vegetrain main course
- 1 - Can of Chick Peas, drained
- 1 - Large Onion, sliced
- 1 - Can of chopped Tomatoes
- 1 - Green Chilli, finely chopped
- 2 cm - Fresh Ginger, grated
- 2 - Bay Leaves
- 1 tsp - Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp - Ground Turmeric
- 1 tsp - Ground Coriander
- 1 tsp - Garam massala
- Fry Light
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 Handful - Fresh Coriander
- Cut the onion, tomato and green chilli. Make a paste by grinding it in food processor along with ginger and garlic.
- Heat a pan, spray with Fry Light and fry bay leaves for about 30 secs. Add the paste and fry on medium heat until golden brown.
- Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well. Fry for further 2-3 minutes.
- Add little water to make thick gravy. Bring the gravy to boil. Add the Chick Peas. Stir well and cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
- Finally garnish with chopped green coriander leaves and serve hot.
